Like other typical Vietnamese communal houses, influenced by Chinese architecture, the structure of H\u00e0 H\u1ed3i communal house follows \u201cN\u1ed9i c\u00f4ng ngo\u1ea1i qu\u1ed1c\u201d layout; of which the central house area shapes like \u2018\u5de5\u2019 (C\u00f4ng) and the surrounding area envelops the heart of the place like \u2018\u56fd\u2019 (Qu\u1ed1c) in Chinese characters along with gabled walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having all the tales told by elders of the village, this building has witnessed many up and down events throughout history, one of them is the battle in Ky Dau Spring 1789; as well as, carries spiritual, historical and cultural values. It was named H\u00e0 H\u1ed3i in the Tay Son dynasty; King Quang Trung won the battle with Qing patrol and destroyed their port H\u1ea1 H\u1ed3i in 1789.
