Until now, V-Architecture has been running for 25 years in Vietnam.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Despite his occupied workload, he diligently arranged his time to take us around, seeing some of his works in Hanoi. Could you describe a little about it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, the story is very simple. My first project was to design a villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On that day, when meeting the client, he said:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want to live in a French villa\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhy would you want that?\u201d, I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have no idea!? On my way to work daily, passing by many old-fashioned French villas, I was quite into them!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShould we have some time talking about its details?\u201d, I suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026. About 2 months after\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t need a French villa anymore! Could you describe the architecture of that house?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is our house located in Gia Lam (Hanoi). Our office was there for a while then we changed it to another place. I do not want to share much about its architecture but solely my thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we treat things with tenderness, it will become close to us. Space or water, when we place a gentle architecture in it without \u201cstirring\u201d, they will all be whole and become one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com\/media.notesbook.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/21143134\/TRC_0048.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2176\"\/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com\/media.notesbook.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/21143134\/TRC_0048.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2176\"\/><\/noscript><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The physics, energy and material solutions seem to be very accentuated throughout the architectural works done by V-Architecture. Why did you choose this architecture?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the factors mentioned above make true architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you think about sustainable architecture? In<\/strong> <strong>Vietnam, how should we specifically approach sustainability in architecture?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From my view, it is obvious that architecture needs to be sustainable. In Vietnam, I think we should learn from our forefathers, \u201cwhen in Rome do as the Romans do\u201d, and \u201ccut your coat according to your clothes\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is your most favourite material? Is there any connection between on-going projects of V-Architecture and the traditional architectural works from our ancestors? Could you give out some<\/strong> <strong>examples?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We always take the chance to look for significant factors and practical values in traditional architecture to implement our works. For instance, DesigN\u2019N, the designed space is similar to the architecture of a temple, which has no boundary and is unobstructed.
