RGSV Theater Auditorium

Located within an international K-12 school campus, the RGSV Theater Auditorium is a renovation project, designed by KKA & Partners, makes use of an existing steel frame structure.

The design aims to create a professional performance space capable of accommodating large-scale musical events within the school.

Drawing inspiration from musical instruments and the intrinsic relationship between sound and space, the auditorium’s architecture celebrates the fusion of art and design. Each musician is envisioned as a “pixel” within a broader musical composition, while elements such as piano keys are subtly integrated into the architectural details. These motifs are thoughtfully reflected in the arrangement of ceiling and wall panels, creating a dynamic and immersive spatial experience.

The auditorium accommodates 482 seats, divided into three sections to ensure optimal sightlines and a consistent viewing experience. This layout fosters a close connection between performers and the audience, enhancing engagement within the performance space.

The ceiling and wall panels, featuring a harmonious design and utilizing sound-absorbing materials such as aluminum and wood, not only provide aesthetic beauty but also enhance sound quality, creating an ideal performance space for artistic activities.
