Japanese designer and architect Daisuke Yamamoto has crafted a product series – “FLOW” which creates a fluid material life cycle minimising industrial waste.
Disposed building material LGS (Lightweight Gauge Steel), which is a material normally used in framing systems is reused and reclaimed to reconstruct new furniture after deconstruction with a minimum number of components.
This product series “FLOW” came to life from this process, with the assumption of deconstruction in mind, challenging in realising fluid material life cycle that prevents industrial waste disposal.
Our mission is to activate discussion around the mechanism of how we deal with disposed materials in our “scarp and build society”
