Hạ Hiệp communal house

Hạ Hiệp communal house worships the Tutelary god – General Hoang Dao. According to the architectural style of art, with ordained ordinations, it is identified that Hạ Hiệp communal house was built in approximately early XVII century to earlier time stream (Le dynasty) in Vietnam.

This place consists of a complex from different timelines. Especially, it houses an enormous treasure of carving arts which includes 12 Fairy dancers statues, Tang ma ham rong (baiting dragon), Riding tiger and several reliefs of daily activities such as: traditional wrestling, drinking, haunting games, traditional protocols, embracing hen, young ladies bathe in lotus pond.

In addition, some carving details on columns and other places in the communal house are distinctively various. The major number of bras-reliefs resides in the Main house (Dai dinh). It could be said that the decorative topics at Hạ Hiệp have diverse contends, presentations as well as means of art-making.

It is more fortunate that through centuries, these masterpieces have been very well preserved. All has contributed special art values to the relics.
