7115 Williamburg

FRAMA is a multi-disciplinary brand encompassing lifestyle objects and homewares, interior architecture and meaningful design solutions, furniture and lighting, scents and skincare, inspiring the senses and encouraging mindful living.

They transformed 7115 by Szeeki, a retail place serving timeless unisex apparel designs with clever detailing in the heart of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, the US.

The architecture of the newly renovated 60-square-metre tenancy breathes a home feeling, a place to discover and experience 7115 on a seensory and personal level. The interior is tranquil and restorative to balance out the bustling energy of New York City.

With an emphasis on natural materials, simple geometries, and uncompromising quality, our work celebrates craftmanship and connects the imaginative with the practical, resulting in a uniquely warm and honest aesthetic.

FRAMA

New York’s classic long and narrow space with high ceilings allowed FRAMA to create, together with Hudson Company, a local timber supplier, a beam-column structure with reclaimed pine wood lumber from Hudson Valley.

The goal for the airy loft-like space was to create a streamlined, soft focus on thee room’s lower half to bring depth. Moreover, the cool icy blue-grey plaster on the walls is mixed with a soft beige yellow on the ceiling and higher-wall levels, originating a light sunny overcast. Concrete floors and handcrafted tile work tie together with accents of aluminum and stainless steel fittings, reclaimed pine, stained birch, and canvas.
