BB Coffee Table is a minimalist coffee table designed by Paris-based practice Corpus Studio. The idea of the BB collection came from tectonic experiments in material and form, where equal parts constitute a whole.
Correspondingly, a simple wheel, cast in aluminium, is divided, repeated, and assembled in a poetic manner to make functional objects that are aesthetically striking. The table is composed of 4 cast metal shells or feet that suggest a storage space and are united by a tabletop.
The metal is finished with restraint, leaving visible traces of the manufacturing process, which highlights the roughness of making. Finally, all edges are polished, underlining the sculptural form of the table.
