Sushi Hokkaido Sachi

Sushi Hokkaido Sachi là thương hiệu nhà hàng Sushi nổi tiếng có nhiều chi nhánh ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Chi nhánh tại Saigon Center đã kết hợp cùng kiến trúc sư Joe Chikamori (07BEACH) làm mới lại không gian với mong muốn giữ được tinh thần Nhật Bản đặc trưng, đồng thời đưa hình ảnh của biển vào thiết kế.

“Chúng tôi lấy ảnh chụp đại dương xanh, chỉnh sửa theo phong cách Pointillism (Trường phái Điểm họa) rồi phủ lên các mảng tường trái, phải. Sau đó dựng thêm một lớp polycacbonat trong suốt gợn sóng, mục đích nhằm tạo ra một đại dương trừu tượng và mờ ảo dựa trên ảnh thực. Mặt tiền của nhà hàng cũng sử dụng vật liệu polycacbonat này, vừa làm nhoè không gian bên trong như thể nằm dưới mặt nước vừa giữ được sự riêng tư với lối đi công cộng.” – Joe cho biết.

“Nhằm giữ lại một phần lịch sử của thương hiệu, hoạ tiết sóng biển từ thời kỳ đầu nay được treo lên như một tấm lưới thép, kết hợp với hệ thống đèn chiếu sáng tạo bóng đổ trên bề mặt tường. Ngoài ra, ở mặt tiền còn có khu trưng bày mẫu món ăn, chính là hình ảnh 3D của cùng mẫu hoạ tiết sóng đó.”

Khu vực chỗ ngồi của khách là sự kết hợp hài hoà giữa yếu tố Nhật Bản với màu xanh của biển. Bao quanh những chiếc ghế là tấm lưới dọc đan từ vải nhuộm màu chàm, tạo không gian riêng tư nhẹ nhàng khác hẳn với những bức tường cứng nhắc thông thường.

“Nhờ vào sự linh hoạt của thương hiệu này, chúng tôi đã tạo ra một không gian phù hợp với nhu cầu hoạt động của nhà hàng và có cơ hội đưa trải nghiệm sáng tạo vào trong thiết kế.” – Joe cho hay.

Sushi Hokkaido Sachi is a well-known Sushi brand in Ho Chi Minh city. Their branch at Saigon Center collaborated with architect Joe Chikamori (07BEACH) for renovation. It includes renewing spaces with the desire to preserve the authentic Japanese spirit while bringing the images of the ocean waves into the design.

“We chose photographs of the ocean then converted into pointillistic graphics, which were then covered with polycarbonate transparent corrugated sheets in undulating shapes. Our intention was to create an abstract and blurred effect on the realistic image of the ocean. The facade is also fabricated with the same material, it helps to create an underwater atmosphere whilst keeping the space its privacy to the public walkway.”, said Joe.

Joe shared that:“For retaining something from the brand’s history in a developed way. The ocean wave pattern used in the original restaurant was hung as a steel lattice, and its shadow imprints on the wall by the lighting system. In addition, at the storefront has a featuring section for products’ samples in combination with the 3D representation of the same wave patterns.”

Interpreted traditional Japanese patterns in design

The sitting area for guests is the harmonised combination between Japanese elements and the blue of the ocean. Chairs are covered with indigo-dyed fabric, creating elegant private rooms spaces which differentiate from conventional private rooms by rigid walls
