Situated in the same district with Là communal house in Hoài Đức, Lại Yên worships the King Chi Minh – an angel associated with the history of creating an ancient place of Kinh Thien Dai (King Hung period). The communal house is located in a vast central land of Lai Yen village with a large scale. Its layout consists a House of ceremony and an Emperor’s Harem, together formed a ‘丁’ – a Chinese character resembles an architectural layout.

Notably, there is a depiction of Y Môn – a representative artwork of carving in the Late Ly dynasty (XVIII century), an incense, a wood collapsed (now preserved in Quan Lai Yen) – the Nguyen dynasty style of art in XIX century. The depiction of Y Môn, having carving details of different techniques (surface carving, carving through, etc) is now displayed in the central compartment of the House of ceremony; with the theme of ‘The two dragons present the moon’, dragon and horse, this is a prestige valuable relic in both technical and aesthetic research in the art of the Late Le dynasty.
