Azores - Notesbook

Bộ sưu tập là dòng nội thất kiểu mô-đun gồm 9 phong cách thiết kế của nhà thiết kế người Ý – Luca Nichetto dành cho văn phòng nội thất sang trọng De La Espada. Được đặt theo tên của quần đảo Azores xinh đẹp ở Bồ Đào Nha nên thiết kế này muốn lột tả sự hình thành của vật chất tự nhiên trên đảo thông qua các hình dạng tròn mềm mại.

Ghế sofa và bàn tượng trưng cho những hòn đảo, được thiết kế để có thể đứng độc lập hoặc kết hợp với nhau tạo thành các tác phẩm linh hoạt, đa dạng. Phần chân của mỗi mô-đun được giấu vào bên trong, tạo ra cảm giác mỗi mảnh giống như các hòn đảo nổi ở Đại Tây Dương.

Mỗi phong cách trong bộ sưu tập được đặt tên theo một hòn đảo của Azores: Faial Lounge Chair, Miguel Sofa, Jorge Sofa, Pico Daybed, Terceira Sofa, Graciosa Side Table, Maria Side Table, Corvo Coffee Table và Flores Coffee Table.

Dựa trên kinh nghiệm làm việc lâu năm của De La Espada, đế và mặt bàn được chế tác từ gỗ nguyên khối bổ sung thêm lớp vải bọc tạo vẻ sang trọng cho bộ sưu tập.

The Azores Collection is a series of nine modular furniture elements designed by Italian designer Luca Nichetto for the Portuguese luxury furnishings outfit De La Espada. The collection takes its name from Portugal’s breathtaking Azores Archipelago, mirroring its organic formations through soft, rounded shapes.

The seating and table modules were conceived as islands, designed to stand alone or come together to create various, flexible compositions. The internal feet of each module are concealed to further the island motif, creating an illusion that each piece floats like the islands of the archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean.

Each of the nine elements is named after an island of the Azores: Faial Lounge Chair, Miguel Sofa, Jorge Sofa, Pico Daybed, Terceira Sofa, Graciosa Side Table, Maria Side Table, Corvo Coffee Table, and Flores Coffee Table.

Drawing on De La Espada’s long working history with solid wood, the organic, sculptural bases, and tabletops are expertly crafted and complement the collection’s plush upholstery.
